The following instructions are to be followed during the Commercial shoot:

i. Photography / film will be made only at the location to be exactly specified by the Site In charge.
ii. Oil lamps will not be used at any place inside the monument.
iii. Firecrackers and aerial firing are not allowed.
iv. Hooks, nails, glue/paint/tape and scratches on historical structure should be avoided.
v. Grassy lawns and flowery plants will not be damaged.
vi. Cleanliness of the premises will be ensured by the client immediately after the Photography / Film.
vii. Security and Electricity will be arranged by the Organizers / Client.
viii. Two CDs / USBs of selected Photographs / film / documentary for commercial use and study purposes will be provided to this Directorate for record.
ix. Bride and groom shall not be allowed to change dresses in case of a private shoot.
x. The management of Shalimar Garden will not be responsible for any precious items/ equipment used during shoots.
xi. No negative projection of any monument shall be made.
xii. No access to the roof tops on any monument will be made during the Photography / film production.
xiii. In case computer graphics are used to show fire in a film or photography scenes, it will be mentioned that those were computer graphics.
xiv. No edibles will be allowed inside any monument during Photography / film
xv. No paint / pasting of any kind will be allowed on the monuments during Photography / film
xvi. No set erection (of any kind) will be allowed during Photography / film shooting.
xvii. Usage of smoke machines will not be allowed
xviii. Usage of water for effects will not be allowed.
xix. No space will be available in the monument for the changing of dresses during Photography / film
xx. No Photography / film shooting will be allowed after the closure of Shalimar Garden
xxi. Shalimar Garden is a no smoking zone. No smoking during the Photography / film shoots in any monument
xxii. “Refunds will only be granted in the event of natural disasters—such as rain, earthquakes, or floods—or in case of official site closure by the Government.”
