The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA), in collaboration with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) and the U.S. Embassy, is actively conserving the historic Naag Temple, a Sikh Era Temple located within this UNESCO world heritage site.

This sacred site, reflecting Lahore’s rich cultural heritage, is undergoing careful restoration to maintain its architectural and historical importance. The project focuses on preserving the temple’s structure, repairing damage, addressing water drainage issues, and restoring its stunning surface decorations to their former glory.
